How to select a handgun | #firearmmentor #2astrong #illinoisccl | www.FirearmMentor.com/classes

Stop buying a handgun simply because someone online said it was the best.

Their hands are not your hands.

A handgun that works perfectly for a reviewer may be uncomfortable or difficult for you to control. Can you reach the trigger properly? Operate the safety? Lock the slide open? Manage the recoil? Load the magazine without struggling?

Reliability matters, but so do fit, comfort, and confidence.

Before buying, handle several models and, whenever possible, shoot them. The best handgun is not necessarily the newest, smallest, or most expensive. It is one you can operate safely and accurately.

See me at RMG Guns and Ammunition in Lake County to see which handguns fit your hand. I am there on Sunday afternoons. We also have classes listed at www.FirearmMentor.com/classes, including a class that allows you to shoot a variety of 9mm handguns for one flat price.

What popular handgun just did not work for you? I have had a few over the years.
